The Salty Dog Ranch is a dog wonderland located just outside the village of Camillus! We are nestled back on over 26 acres of beautiful pastures and wooded trails. We strive to enrich the lives of dogs and their families by providing them with top notch care, peace of mind, trust and security.  Our goal is to be the preferred choice for alternative pet care solutions by providing a variety of affordable services.  Our dedicated and professional staff will ensure a safe, fun and nurturing environment.  We want to be your dog’s home away from home.

Jaime Corcoran

Owner & Operator

Jaime knew from a young age that she wanted to spend her life working with animals. At the age of 9, she started a dog walking/pet sitting business in her neighborhood, and eventually went on to SUNY ESF for Wildlife Science to pursue a career in veterinary medicine and zoology. While in school, she worked part-time at a dog daycare and knew this was what she wanted to do.

She moved to Rochester to attend grooming school and received her certification in pet grooming and pet first aid in 2008. By July 2009 she opened up her own grooming salon and worked at K9 Kamp as a pack leader until 2019.  Jaime has also worked part-time as a receptionist and veterinary assistant for the Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Center of Baldwinsville. She loved being behind the scenes to learn from the veterinarians and vet techs while being able to be hands-on and help the staff whenever it was needed.

Jaime acquired K9 Kamp’s Baldwinsville location in December of 2019, announcing that her new venture, the K9 Crate Escape would be opening in January of 2020! After over 2 years of hard work and dedication, the Crate Escape exploded with success.  With the increasing demand, she began to outgrow the space and wanted to provide a better location and to offer more services to the dog community.
